You’ll receive the same level of creativity and expertise as our full-service design, but with a quicker turnaround and a hands-off implementation approach. Once we’ve crafted your tailored design plan, you’ll have all the details, selections, and guidance to bring your space to life—on your own timeline.

Have plans but wondering if they’re as good as they could be? If you’re worried about missing opportunities or want to avoid design FOMO, this service is for you! We’ll review your plans with fresh expert eyes to catch what may have been missed, suggest enhancements, and ensure your vision is fully realized—before construction begins..
Let us review your plans with a fine-tooth comb, ensuring both functionality and flow. We’ll redline and notate potential problem areas before they become costly mistakes—like unbalanced or poorly placed lighting, traffic pattern congestion, awkward door swings, or rooms that may not accommodate furnishings properly. We also take ADA requests and other critical details into account.
Beyond identifying construction concerns, we’ll also suggest furnishing layouts to ensure your space is as livable as it is beautiful. Let us take the stress and second guessing out of this part of the construction process. By partnering with us we ensure your layout supports your lifestyle and design goals
Our Process
Consultation
It begins with a phone call. This brief 15 -minute conversation focuses on understanding you and your project, covering questions about the scope, timeline, budget, and the parties involved up to this point.
Project Kickoff/ Proposal/Deposit
After our phone call, you will receive an email letting you know if your project is a good fit (at this time). If you are congratulations! We look forward to exploring your project in more detail. It’s time to book your Project Kickoff Meeting at the project site. This 1.5-hour meeting comes at a fixed rate of $350. We will walk your space (or look over your plans). We will also look at your inspiration photos and go over your New Client Questionnaire. Studio B. will use all the information gathered to compose a custom design proposal for you with an estimated number of hours associated with your project.
You secure a start date on our calendar with a signed design agreement and the collection of your design deposit. It's time for the fun to begin!
Conceptual Design
We REALLY dive in and get to know your family and your project.

Assess the current project space, take measurements and photos, and document any items that will remain.

Design the ideal floor plan to ensure the best possible layout for the project per room.

Create inspiration board(s) to communicate what Studio B. envisions for the project per room.

Determine initial selections to confirm the design direction and budgeting.

Conduct “Trade Day/ DAYS” at CLIENT’s home. This is where Studio B. consults with contractors and trades on site to review the project concepts and take detailed measurements in order for the client to receive accurate quotes.
Detailed Design
The design comes to life and we select and document all the pretty things.

Create detailed design and product boards.

Procure written quotes from additional trades. (as needed).

Complete selections of hard and soft finishes in accordance with approved inspiration boards and initial selections.

Finalize the approved floor plan(s) with final selections.

Render relevant elevations of the space and models of the space.

Complete any custom piece drawings as needed.

Construct a Build-Binder for contractors and subs. It will include hard finish, plumbing, electrical, and appliance schedules, specs, placement and coordinating elevations.
Construction & Beyond
We manage the project so you don't have too.

Prepare the Construction & installation timeline

Prepare invoicing for hard finishes and lighting.

Coordinate project logistics with trades and contractors

Weekly site meetings as needed to communicate design objectives to subcontractors.

Field and communicate all questions and concerns to the homeowner.

Coordinate deliveries and installations

On-site presence during deliveries and installations, where applicable.
Furnishings + Styling + Photography

Product procurement- Ordering, tracking, inspecting, and coordinating delivery of trade-only furnishings and accessories.
